What is Follow the Sound?
Follow the Sound is an immersive guided sound experience that takes you on a deep journey within yourself.
The art of thinking is a mastery that requires a reverence for space. Space exists between the external events or internal thoughts and our reactions to these events or thoughts in our lives. The more we can understand how to use space as a tool to override our initial conditioned reactions and behavioral patterns, the more we can respond to life with the capacity to choose consciously and from a place of presence and equanimity.
In Sound Meditations, we learn to listen to the silence between the sounds, the spaces between the notes, to learn about the power of silence...power of space. Listening is not a passive experience. Follow the Sound teaches us how to deeply listen to outside sounds to activate and listen to the sounds within ourselves.
By learning how to listen, one learns how to silence the mind. Silence becomes Space. Space becomes the power to choose and create our realities.

About our sound journey…
The immersive and introspective sonic journey is comprised of six parts
We will discuss the esoteric, scientific and therapeutic properties of sound and share the lessons he has learned from his various teachers and ongoing research.

BRIEF INFORMATIVE TALK
We open with a series of kundalini yoga based movements designed to ground us in our bodies and activate our minds. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system we begin the journey inward.

BREATHWORK
Inspired by Stanislav Grof's Holotropic breathing technique, you will be guided through a powerful three-part breath that will enable you to disconnect from the “monkey mind” just enough to reach heightened states of awareness and a deeper state of meditation.
Using your own vocal cords, you will discover your unique frequencies, while tuning into the surrounding environment. This wordless form of vocalization will serve as a platform for self-expression and release, as well as an opportunity to bask and tune into a different kind of vibration.

VOCAL MEDITATION
We will guide a sonic journey into the inner landscape of self using overtone-emitting instruments (gongs, singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks etc.) These rich overtones affect the brainwave cycles, neurochemistry, autonomic nervous system, heart-rate variability, and subtle energy in the body. The sound meditation sets the stage for a deep, meditative and unique altered state of consciousness allowing us to disconnect from physical, mental, emotional and psychological habitual patterns.

CONNECTION
We will have time to share musings, thoughts, feelings and poetics about our individual experiences while sharing snacks and beverages after ceremony.

For those seeking the most in-depth personal experience, individual one-on-one facilitation is offered. This is the most intensive and in-depth work. These sessions include a 2 month program which includes a deep preparation and wholistic integration.

Couples'
A private session f or you and a significant other. You will have the complete privacy of experiencing the meditation with you and another individual designed to help you dive deeply into yourself, your relationship, and the sound.
